Sometimes the government has to come in and say, we're going to stop what you're doing because this is wrong. And i think the spirit of the constitution and lincoln was absolutely right. Do you think slavery would have ended eventually on its own? Has fallen into disuse for economic reasons? Or sometimes we need a war.
