Hoffman's T Shaped Silhouettes From the Nineteenth Century
Archaeologist angelo volker has been studying 19th century fashion. He shows us a dress from the time, with no definition at the waist or hips. The garment is one of only two that still survives in its original form. It was made by an Austrian woman for her cousin to wear to a masked ball.
