The Happiest Nights I Ever Know Are Those When I Have No Place to Go
I'm looking up one of my poems that I found recently that I just absolutely loved. It is by Edgar Albert Guest. He says, the happiest nights I ever know are those when I have no place to go. The peace untold of sitting round in my slippers old with my pipe and book in an easy chair knowing I didn't go anywhere. Oh, the charm of it and the comfort rare, nothing on earth with it can compare. And I'm sorry for him who doesn't know the joy of having no places to go.
