The History of Prop 13 in California

Is there a good book on Prop 13? I feel like it's like such an important issue for arguably the most important state in the country has this terrible policy that was put in place in the 70s and is just the downstream consequences of that have just been horrendous. The book is called Golden Gates. It's by Connor Doherty. There you go. So is it actually specifically about Prop 13? It is about the history of the sort of how California's land system got the way it is. And yeah, it's a really great introductioncalled Golden Gates. But what's wild is like, reg, like people who knew it at California, don't think appreciate that.
