The Definition of Inalienable Rights
The inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness aren't actually inalienable, right? Like, you can be killed by the state. But those three seem to be things that can be taken away. The one is pursuit of happiness. That one truly does seem inalienable. Whereas like, I could conceivably give up my freedom.
