In the same way that Black women are being forced to have children, like they were during the time of slavery, instead they're more likely to be coerced not to have children or even forcibly sterilized. The Adoption and Safe Families Act is an incentive for the speedier termination of parental rights. In fact, many parents have to so-called voluntarily give up their children to the state in order to get the medical care that children need.
