i want to talk a little bit about a respiration and a this notion of this proton motive forcedand as i understand it. We vacily have a current of electrons in the membrane, srip from food and pass to oxygen. In so doing, you're pushing protons outside. And that bunt is driving the excusion of protons across. Then we have something like a hydroetric dam, almost, where the membrane is the dam, and on one side we've got a reservoir of protons. On the other side we don't. The 80 p cynthes which is the energy generating protein, it makes 80 p which is often called the energy currency of life
