The Lord Is My Shepherd

Prayer is not a speech, it's a conversation. Bring your felt needs to god, the needs of to day, and talk to him about them. Then pray, because complaints are welcome. God's not nearly as worried about your as you are. Some words in the psalms go direct against the teachings of jesus and the character of god revealed in scripture. So why on earth would those prayers get included in the bible? Because they're honest.God is looking for relations, not for well prepared speeches spoken from perfect motives.
