Malin Hay, editor of the London Review of Books joins Thomas Jones to talk about TikTok. The social media platform is in the news this week because British government has banned civil servants from having it on their work devices. Malin says he's deleted the app since writing a piece about it and calls it 'a colossal time-suck' He adds that Book Talk videos are not usually how people find each other but they can be found by searching for certain keywords or interests.
