Vietnam veteran recalls his time as a fighter pilot at Naval Air Station Miramar, San Diego. He was assigned to VF 121 which had lost 13 of its 100 men between February and the end of June 1968. "We were worn out, beat up and bitter," he says. 'You know, on a given day, do you get a chance that you train in years war?"
