The Disaster of the Highways
Robert Moses wanted to build two highways through Manhattan. Andrew Lynch has drawn into the Google map what those highways would look like today. He says driving them probably wouldn't have been too much worse than any other giant highway interchange anywhere else. And like everywhere else, these highways wouldn't have worked.
