Deleuze: Bergsonism

Machinic Unconscious Happy Hour

CHAPTER

The Problems of the More and the Less

Hegel gives a rough definition of time where he conceives it as the movement of abstract negativity. That's basically how Bergson's doing it because he actually gives an affirmative definition rather than using negativity in this way. Nothing is being plus negation plus the psychological motive for calling my attention, right? Right. So we start to have these problems, for example, with being in nothing when we think that nothing is less than being. When in fact, nothing is more than being, right? Because nothing has infinite potential.
