Introduction

The Lost Words is a musical project featuring folk musicians from Scotland, England and Senegal. It was conceived by writer Robert McFarlane as a way of summoning back words disappearing from the tongues of young people. An award-winning album and sell-out shows around the country followed. Then Covid-19 hit and the breaks were put on devising the next round of songs. That's until April 2021 when Robert, Jackie and the singers gather again to start bringing the spells to life before recording a second album - Let the Light In.
