The Darkest of the Darkest
The story of Bluebeard was written by Charles Perot in 1697. In it, a young woman marries a wealthy nobleman from the area. She discovers that he has killed his four previous wives while they were pregnant. He gets very upset and is about to kill her when her brothers rescue her.
