I think it came from talking with elders over the time, over the first six months of my being in california. I would talk to somebody who was forty and lived in oakland for 30 years, or i would talk to someone who was 30 and lived inOakland for ten years. They all sort of had these individual, but specifically, like, related stories of how they would find, it took forever to find a space,. And then once they when it would be, you know, closed for whatever reason.
