Capitalism has this extraordinary ability to kind of colonize or coopt its own critique. So i've always been really fascinated by the way that capitalism effectively sells us the feeling that we are resisting it. Instead of being expressed on the street in the form of a kind of revolutionary stance than or protest, then it gets coupted into consumption itself. A real challenge would be to reduce your consumption, not to consume a different kind of commodity, necessarily.
