The Miss USA Pageant

Pam Greer entered a beauty pageant to make money. She was runner-up in Miss Colorado Universe, which went straight into her college fund. A talent agent from Hollywood told Pam there were lots of opportunities for Black actors in Hollywood. On the next episode of The Plot Thickens, Pam moves to Hollywood and ends up in an all-night jam session with some of the world's most famous rock stars.
