Do You Have Specific Phobia?

Researchers for several decades now have recognized that disgust plays a very big role in specific phobia. We saw that she had elevated self report of im not just ama fear. And we found that her levels of avoidance were to the buttons, were indeed elevated compared to the control participants. However, she also demonstrated elevated avoidance of the disgusting and fearful inducing pictures compared to the controls. So maybe there's something about avoidance behaviours that may be generalized when some of these other measures don't.
