Self Knowledge Is Impossible

The self, or mind with a capital m, cannot know itself because it is infinite. And knowing or knowledge is not infinity. It is less than infinity, set of infinity. This explains why philosophy throughout the ages has not been very successful in answering the deepest questions about reality. But they can be answered at the more primordial level of being and actually, paradoxically, at the level of not knowing.
