How to Read the Old Testament
Three different ways to read violent passages in the old testament. The first one, and i want to quote here a lot from your book, is called divine pedagogy approach. And it's embodied or represented by saint irinaeus. But we have to avoid that temptation rather se i'm anticipating my conclusionr a little bit. We don't eliminate the old in favor of the new. Rather, we read the old in light of the new, and then we're going to shud a lot more light I think.
