Jonas: Chester French was the name. Although it went through a few, where did that come from? There was a statue at Harvard or Daniel, Sir Daniel, Chester French. Zombies, Beatles, Beach Boys were big influences on Whiplash. Jonas says he only puts music in these things that I actually want to hear their playing before. "I think Ryan is just so charismatic"
