The History of Burgundy
The Robert Parker book which came out in 1990 was a big thick book and there were some very good things in it but also he was a bit muddled by what was great burgundy. He confused some people who were still doing a lot of blending with others who were making really genuine minds. It's interesting that he never updated that book possibly because he realized his focus was bought-o wines, was a map of alley wines,. Was shut enough to pop and he was never completely comfortable I think in burgundy.
