The Importance of Friendship

Jesus Christ came down to ungrateful people like us who are wandering around in the marketplace of this world doing nothing, calling us friend. He himself lowered himself and made himself a servant of all. And he was rejected and treated as a criminal, crucified on a cross for my sin and for your sin so that we would be richly provided for from here to eternity. So instead of despising it, let us receive and rejoice in it. We invite you to move in our hearts now. Holy Spirit, come.
