How Long Did You Be in the Classroom?
I went straight to the classroom right out of college, picked my university strictly for their education program and everything. And I taught kindergarten for six years and then I kind of joked I finally made it to first grade and then taught first grade for six years before deciding to transition out. So you were in the classroom for a while. How long during that time in your career were you really thinking about leaving and pursuing other options? "It was just an idea in my head though," she says.
