The Importance of Confidence in the Age of Madam Rastel

Madam Rastel is a larger than life figure that we usually only see men in history. She's also a figure who I think got to enjoy the fruits of her labor, which was upsetting to people at the time. We are usually presented with very sanitized versions of women and those women aren't that interesting to me.
