The Role of Surveys in the Study of Racism
i think it is important for us to take stock of as best we're able to we could have level and impacts of changing forms of racism for different groups i kind of like this as an exercise um and to do so in a way that is transparent. This paper strikes me as a really important corrective to a literature that routinely interprets a correlation as direct evidence of the significance of racism. It encourages to think more capaciously about what the relevant source of variation is. Among liberals it's as much about if not more about favoring one group as favoring another.
