The Language of the 20s

I think it's going to be really funny when we look back in 10 years time at some of the language of the last couple of years, and it will just seem so unbelievably of its time. The constant refrain is always about that L'Bouvier was worried about her erasure from the conversation. I think what you're seeing in that panel is essentially like, if we just flatter her and modify her maybe she'll go away. And these big, slightly scallorotic institutions, just having this absolute paralysis when dealing with social media.
