Before she became a sociologist, i used to work as a victim advocate in the hospitals. The one thing i noticed in that role is often the police interviews, we're pretty hostile. But the nurses, the sexual assault nurse examiners, theyre called senes. They are trained and trama an formed questioning techniques. And so once the police were gone and out of the room and the nurse would do her interview, then the victims would be able to remember more.
