Jeffrey Canada is the founder of Harlem Children's Zone. He started HCC to help children and families out of poverty by providing wraparound services from education and wellness programs. So, imagine they didn't have the 10 week program. What are some of the things you might have done to try? I would have cried. And there was no such thing as even cell phones back then.
