Hérakneisius Emphasizes the Role of the Eucharistic Community
Hérakneisius emphasizes the role of Eucharistic community as an indispensable means for participation in the passion and death of Christ. Ignatius does not refer only into god but to the whole heavenly realm as it were consisting of god the apostles and Jesus Christ this realm is reflected in the Eucharism assembly consists of the bishop, presbyters and deacons. He ends his thought by saying let there be nothing among you that is capable of dividing you but be united with the bishop and with those who lead as an example and a selection of incorruptibility.
