How to Be a Successful Startup Investor

Having built a bunch of companies already, how do you think that has influenced your approach to being a startup investor? I think it's done three things. One is, it's allowed me to hopefully give better advice than if I hadn't done all the stuff. A friend of mine runs a big venture team and he says, he used to run a giant company with multi-centre million dollar revenue stream. He likes to hire people who've stared product market fit in the face and flinched or had to decide whether to flinch or not. And so there's ways to actually be very useful if you've actually scaled things before.
