There's strongly suggestive evidence that we can teach management no practices such that people can run firms more effectively. Geographic mobility has really declined, in large part becausethe costs of movement havev enormously increased as housing costs haveve increased. Over the past couple of decades, funding for science has been changing from under 40s to over 50s. And so i think there are important questions about what kind of research should be funded and when.
