The History of Cattle and Sheep
Around 57, hundred b c domesticated sheep and cattle began to arrive from areas in southeastern europe. This may not seem like a big deal but for historians of this period, it's a sismic event. For the first time, human beings could actually enter into and live within the step region for longer periods of time. Cattle meant that these people had regular access to meat and also milk, cheese and dairy products. Sheep wool began to evolve after they were introduced to the colder climates of europe. That enabled these ancient humans to use the wool for weaving and woven textiles and fabrics started to be produced.
