Is the Ideal Number of Dependencies a Monolith?
An ideal architecture is where you have an API gateway that just routes to a bunch of services and those services don't communicate. That's not a good design decision, except for the times when a monolith does make sense. So overall, before it was like the surface area of the API, you want to kind of minimize thesurface area of what you consume as well. And then show you edge, which kind of reminds me of a thought I think I explicitly mentioned in the talk.
