Aristotle's Logic

logic works as a method of criticism to illuminate where the problems are and thus where progress might be made. We have a tradition in philosophy stretching all the way back to aristotle, who formalized early versions of it. And that progress will come if we simply take it as a working assumption, that say, reality is fundamentally discreet, and then see what solutions that leads to using logic. It's not because logic itself is barrier or faulty, but because we haven't been imaginative enough yet to find a creative solution.
