The Willingness Comes From the Pain
i got sober at 32, and i started going to this funny little church. It was across the street a fleamarket that i went to in every sunday morning because i was really hung over. There were 30 people there, and they could just see that i was hurting. They weren't trying to get me to convert, or to come to bible study. The healing comes from one other person who just kind of grocks you,. Who has what you have, who's done what you've done, who tried what you tried, who thought what you thought, maybe even today.
