Writing Is Language, It's Beautiful Language

When I was being examined for my master's degree it was so evident the people who were examining me like one professor or young professor, he just wanted to talk about the history of the additions of Whitman's Leaves of Grass. It seemed like people who taught that way didn't really know how to read a work of fictional poetry. So in a way the direction and the order in which you had that you sort of saw what you were missing. But I'm glad I didn't, if I had gotten a PhD in English I might just have been an English professor and I would much rather be a writer.
