In some ways, i think the progress has been incremental. In terms of how black people are treated in this society, sadly, it hasn't changed as much as i thought it would change when i was first elected in 19 87. And although you see a little more than you did in nit eghtyseven, i still think there's progress to be made. The economic injustice is still appalling, really.
