The Power of the HRV in Training

HRV is a global measure of your personal scenario, and it's not a nervous system. When those things aren't in place, it has been shown that we adapt very differently to when we're less stressed. The way I use HRV with my athletes is I don't really guide it on a day-to-day basis using the HRV,. But I will decide when I will insert a recovery period or keep on going with my training based on what the HRV is doing.
