What Would It Look Like to Seek to Understand the Things That You Don't Understand?

I think that we need to stop putting certain sins in such a pedestal because even when it comes to LGBT issue, as I've had all these conversations. We really treat this as like some sort of foreign thing that we just don't understand. And therefore we want to excommunicate it and make it seem that much worse. So what it what would it look like to seek to understand what somebody has been going through versus just assume that, Oh my gosh, that's so terrible and disgusting and horrible. You know, does that make sense?
