The Second Law of Thermodynamics

The second law of thermodynamics says that the total entropy of any closed macroscopic system will never decrease. This is everything to do with some processes being reversible and some irreversible. There are a lot of processes in nature like planetary orbits that could go in either direction. In those sorts of processes, there is time symmetry.
