They were disbanded in december of 19 forty three, january nineteent. So as far as operational they were abot it was about 20 months. They engaged in approximately a dozen, maybe 13 engagements where they really, really fought as marine raiders. All those raiders were then folded into these larger marine divisions,. and of course, continued to perform brilliantly, as did all of our marines. But most people just have not heard of talage.
