Is There a Pro-Democracy Government in Egypt?
Egypt sees Sudan as kind of a backyard where it leads to constantly guard and make sure that there is no security threats. The connections between the Egyptian army and the Sudanese army is a historical one. Women were very much at the forefront of the 2019 revolution that led to the ouster of Omar Al-Bashir in this December 5th agreement. Are women still playing that central role that they did back in 2019? No, no it seems to be a problem. It's a big problem because the lack of inclusivity has also been an issue.
