President bush ran against a moderate republican billionaire populist by the name of ross perot in 1992. Perot was short corky had large ears and a squeaky voice, pro-choice on abortion and supported gun control. Bush's own campaign manager ed rolins later said perot is insecurity incarnate and that he would have been a disaster in the white house ouch so how in the world did a political novice like rossperot managed to win an impressive 19 percent of the popular vote?
