An Employee Develops Skin Cancer as a Result of Sun Exposure

Employers can reduce people's exposure to the sun during their work hours, but we don't have any control over their exposure. It could be argued that if an employee did develop skin cancer as a consequence of sun exposure it is difficult to prove that that is as a result of work and not what they were doing in their home time. i think that there's probably a similar argument that has been made about psychological injury. The hazards that they were exposed to at work, am, were not at a level that would, am, predictably cause a psychological injury. There were other things going on outside of work that contributed to that. And over whelmingly, the cause of the injury
