We build intimacy via a series of steps that the the most well understood are called escalating self-disclosure so you know we chat a little bit about things we did on the weekend or we chat alittle bit about our kids etc and that's how we build intimacy not just touching as well but you know whereas the apes our ape ancestors had touch only we have talk in fact the reason that we're able to have such big friendship networks and so many intimates is that we'reable to talk.
