Iroh doesn't understand Zuko and it's not going to work. He just realizes that this is what Zuko needs at this moment. Sokka does his own part to, of course, he doesn't have his beloved boomerang. And just when he needs it most, guess what? He gets it back because it was taken by the very Fire Nation people who were there trying to sack the village. Aang even uses Kyoshi's fans, which I think is really fun to see an airbender using Kyoshi's weapons.
