The Ghosting of Relationships

A lot of Australian churches, if you look at them, were built in that sort of post-war boom from well, end of World War II. They all had basketball courts and they all had tennis courts, basketball or tennis courts. So there are sort of these social meeting points. But I just increasingly start to have a sense that that alone is not going to give you the context to do discipleship as the church has always done it. You can't have a good relationship without having hard conversations. And this is where the ghosting thing comes in. It's like people are a button they can just press and they disappear. We need to also be aware of how the platform society
