The Pros and Cons of Striking Against Producers

The amount of what we're fighting over is so minuscule in the sense of if you think long term over the health of the business, it really should be an investment in the future rather than them trying to preserve something in the present. I would like to make a plea to my fellow writers. Please stop saying that the people were striking against are the producers. They're not. Don't even call them the studios anymore. That sounds more human. It's the companies. And those companies are deciding our fate. If we make them feel a little bit of pain in this strike, they will come back to the table. And we will get a deal that we can live with.
