The Cost of Prosecution in the United States
Arrest statistics are a hoax on the tax paying public who think that they're paying police and their courts to protect them when in fact it's a lot of make work. If judges really were doing their job they would break police for bringing these kinds of cases into court but no they treat them as if they're real cases and everybody plays the charade. The system doesn't punish this kind of official behavior and it should frivolous prosecutions prosecutors and police should be should be penalized for it, he says.
